Step 1: Create A Buddy Walk Team

If you are a Buddy Walk team captain, start here! Fill in your team information & we will add it to our list of teams walkers can join.  Please allow 24 hours for team to be added to team gallery and to the online registration page. 

After creating your team, email a picture of your team’s individual(s) with Down syndrome. A .jpg or .png file is preferred. Email the picture to buddywalk@champaigndsn.org.

Also remember to complete the other assignments required of the Team Captain found at the Team Captain resource page

By registering you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions In consideration of me and/or my minor child being permitted to participate in the Buddy Walk, I hereby-for myself, my heirs, and personal representatives-assume any and all risks that might be associated with the event. I further waive, release, discharge and covenant not to sue the Down Syndrome Network, its officers, employees, sponsors, organizers, volunteers, or other representatives or their successors and assigns, for any and all injuries or damages of any kind whatsoever suffered by myself and/or my minor child as a result of taking part in the events and any related activities. I also authorize the use of any photo, film, or videotape taken of me/or my minor child at the event for any purpose.
