Resource Showcase Application

During the Buddy Walk, we will have a Resource Showcase for our Down syndrome families and attendees. The Showcase will feature tabletop displays from community organizations. We are looking for a maximum of 10-12 organization. Each organization will receive a 6’ table and chair under a tent. Estimated size of your area in the tent will be 8’ wide x 5’ deep. Set up would be between 9 and 9:30 am. Showcase would be open 10 am to 12 pm.

Recommendations: Since we are outdoors, please remember to keep your display weather-resistant (e.g. wind). The tent will protect you from the sun but the wind does kick up sometime. Families tend to gather at interactive displays like games

Down Syndrome Network

The Down Syndrome Network operates as a not-for-profit orgnaization serving families with members who have Down syndrome in Champaign and surrounding counties. The DSN offers support to families by providing current information for parents, professionals and the general public. We also reach out to new parents and try to raise awareness of Down syndrome in our communities.
