14th Annual Buddy Walk
The Champaign County Down Syndrome Network invites you to the 14th Annual Buddy Walk®. Join us on Saturday, October 6th at the Champaign County Fairgrounds. There will be plenty of activities for all ages and abilities with games, inflatables, plenty of food and lots more!! It will be a great day of family fun!
Activities begins at 9:00 am, the program will begin at 11:15 am with the step-off for the walk at Noon.
PREPARE TO BE AMAZED!!! This year, the Illinois State University Gamma Phi Circus will perform astounding feats sure to entertain and amaze!
The Buddy Walk® was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness. It is also the world’s most widely recognized public awareness program for the Down syndrome community with over 300 events across the country and around the world. In the past year, 330,000 walkers collectively raised $14.2 million dollars, which is used to support local programs and services as well as national advocacy initiatives.
All participants are welcome! From strollers to seniors, all supporters of individuals with Down syndrome are invited to participate. Buddy Walk® events are great places to network with families and learn more about support services available. There is always plenty of fun, food & activities for everyone.
