Participate as a Family or Individual

Participating in the Buddy Walk does not require a team. You can walk as a family or as an individual to help promote awareness, acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome.

Donations are not required to participate. You do not have to purchase t-shirts. We only ask that you register yourself or your family so that we can thank you for participating after the Buddy Walk!

Free T-Shirt & Walk Sign for Individual with Down Syndrome

All individuals with Down syndrome will receive a free Buddy Walk t-shirt and a Walk sign. Please complete the following forms by Thursday, September 16.

Down Syndrome Network

The Down Syndrome Network operates as a not-for-profit orgnaization serving families with members who have Down syndrome in Champaign and surrounding counties. The DSN offers support to families by providing current information for parents, professionals and the general public. We also reach out to new parents and try to raise awareness of Down syndrome in our communities.
